Tours

Round Mountain Organics offers tours from 10 a.m. to noon. During this tour, you'll see the farm's greenhouse, straw bale house, shed, yurt, off-the-grid solar and wind-powered electrical system, solar thermal heating system, gardens, chickens. And you get to have a home-grown tea party. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children. Contact Nancy at 970-349-4742.

Archeological Site Tours of the Mountaineer and Tenderfoot sites in Gunnison take place from June 1 through the first week of August. Since transportation to the site takes place in a fifteen-passenger van, children must be big enough to ride in the van without a car seat. Please call 970-943-2543 two days in advance to make reservations for this tour, which last about two hours.

Blue Mesa Reservoir has an variety of different boat tours available, as well as pontoon and speed boat rentals. Chartered fishing tours are available through Gene Taylors 970-641-1845.
