Adaptive Sports Center
www.adaptivesports.org
The Adaptive Sports Center mission is "to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by promoting and providing successful outdoor adventure activities and experiential education with the highest quality instruction and equipment available."

The ASC was founded twenty years ago in 1987, when President and Mrs. Carter joined a group of local residents to form the Physically Challenged Ski Program of Crested Butte. The program provided 30 alpine ski lessons its first year, and today offers roughly 4,000 activities annually, emerging as one of the premiere outdoor adaptive recreation programs in the world.

They offer classic adventure activities, which include:

  • Downhill Mountain Biking
  • Whitewater Rafting
  • Multi-day River Trips
  • Road and Cross Country Handcycling
  • Rock Climbing
  • Challenge Course
  • And much more

There are three "seasons" with varying rates. Early season is June 1 to June 20. High season is June 21 to August 20. Late season is August 21 to September 20. If you register on or before June 10 for summer guided tours, you will receive at 15% Director's Discount.
