Kid Friendly Dining
"Nanny 911," a child disciplinarian who hosts a very popular television show recommends bringing your own crayons, paper, and activities for young children when you go out to eat with them. Perhaps you packed these things for the car ride or flight to the area, or you can easily bring them from your home nearby.
Most restaurants feature kids menus. Be sure to eat dinner early enough to avoid the "meltdown" hour. In the winter (particularly in the spring because the sun can be hot in March), you can try take-out and snowshoe or cross country ski for a picnic.
